Unlike printing services that simply print your photo as-is, we turn your photo into fine art using techniques developed for PoesyArt.

We start with a consultation and your photograph. Then we go into action:

- Removal of undesired objects in the photo where possible -- and a lot is possible!

- Custom enhancement of your photograph for best visual effect on art canvas.

- Cropping for best museum gallery wrap results (see center column).

- Giclée printing on art canvas using a professional wide-format printer with archival "Ultrachrome" inks.

- Treatment for UV protection to provide fade resistance for nearly 100 years.

- Gallery wrapping the finished piece onto stretcher bars for that fresh no-frame look.

- Attachment of a wire on the backside for hanging.

What is Museum Gallery Wrap?

Muesum Gallery Wrap is a canvas mounting style where the canvas is wrapped around the edges of the stretch bars and secured on the back side. The artwork stretches around the edges, as seen in the image to the left, giving a special dimension to the art. Gallery wrapped art is not framed so that the edge effect will be seen.

We produce all canvas art with this gallery wrap style such that our pieces are ready for hanging without framing (and without the associated expense).

Pricing and Ordering

Custom canvas art is available in the following sizes:

12" x 16" x 1.25" (either portrait or landscape orientation)

12" x 32" x 1.5" (either portrait or landscape orientation)

To order, you will need to send us your digital photograph file. The resolution of the image is important so that we can deliver a high-quality result. Generally, for the 12" x 16" size, your photo should be taken with a camera having at least a 5 Mpixel rating, preferably 8 Mpixels. For the 12" x 32" size, the camera rating should be at least 8 Mpixels and preferrably 12 Mpixels.
